Parish and Town Councils have been given the power under various pieces of legislation to make grants to different organisations and bodies and the Parish Council therefore sets aside a sum within its annual budget to provide grants. These grants are subject to general legislation, but it is usual for local Councils to set out additional guidelines for the consideration of such applications. Our current procedure is listed below and it sets out our current policy governing Grant Applications. The policy is reviewed annually and posted on the web-site as and when available.

Please note that the deadline for receipt of applications is the second Friday of January. This timescale enables the Council to consider all grants at its January meeting. Organisations wishing to apply are asked to complete the application form below.

A number of local groups and organisations were awarded grants at the Council meeting in February 2024, including Kineton Cricket Club, St Peters's Church towards the Outlook / mowing the Churchyard Extension, Kineton Playgroup, Shakespeare Hospice and Kineton Primary School amongst others.
