WCC - Advance Notice of Essential Tree Work, Southam Road, Kineton

Affecting Traffic & Parking Tuesday 20 & Wednesday 21 August 2024

Please be advised that to allow for the essential removal of a tree there will be temporary traffic lights and no parking areas, see plan right inset. Works will be carried out between 9.30 am and 4pm.

The decision to remove the Horse Chestnut in the centre of Kineton on Southam Street has been made, due to the decline of the tree's health and with its proximity to buildings and public highway.

We (Warwickshire County Council) have been monitoring this tree closely over recent years, however the decline observed this year has been significant, and has left us no option but to remove the tree.
